Adi likes to paint but has never had any kind of inclination towards art. He mostly likes to just dabble with colours and paints and we happily let him do that and then we also rave about his masterpieces (we're his parents after all!!). His most frequent drawings are of his family - 3 twig-martian like creatures which are his Dad, his Mom and himself (will post some pics on a later day). But since he has joined Greenwood High, his art classes seems to have "inspired" him and also the twig-martian figures seems have grown fuller, rounder and sport hair and knees! :) A couple of times a week, we take out the paints, sketch pens, crayons and just draw a few pictures. I have also been looking up 'finger painting' on the internet. I pick up a random image for "inspiration"" and then try and help Adi do it himself. Adi seems to like this a lot :) Thank god for small mercies! :)
The result of today's artwork - hand print+finger prints, the solar system (Adi says space is all black) and Adi's bedroom (drawn by Adi's 'Ghost' friend). I had to judge which one was better - Adi's solar syster or his ghost friend's bedroom, and of course Adi's solar system won hands down. Ha ha! ;)

Very apt idea of Space Adi has :).
I don't have the patience to sit with Damita for stuff like this more than once in a while, but after seeing inspirational friends like you maybe i'll try more often !!
